 Formerly the Breyer's Ice Cream Factory, 1610 Altamont Avenue was originally constructed in 1929 and is designated as contributing to the Scott's Addition Historic District. Through the Special Use Permit process, the structure will be renovated into 31 apartments, including 21 two-story, open loft spaces. Units will range in size between 500 – 1500 square feet.

The renovation of this building will be executed using Green Building principles, such as using eco-conscious materials, engaging local companies to furnish products, and recycling construction waste. The structure will also include a central, two-story atrium, taking advantage of unrestricted natural lighting.
